This is a multistory Persona 5 based Role Play Group. If you’re wondering what that means, well it means that we have no real ‘set’ storyline for the group itself, but several ‘required’ stories that demand members involvement, several ‘leisure’ stories that are sign-up based, and some ‘seasonal’ events that come and go depending on the time of year it is!
This group is entirely based upon member activity, and because of that we offer a myriad of innovative new things to keep the involvement in the group going, including: Seasonal Writing Contests (complete with real life prizes!), Seasonal Editing Contests (complete with editing prizes!), Personal Rp areas set to the theme of any event storyline, Member Setup RP Events, and Open Location Based RPs.
Our discord server is also open to the public, and it isn’t a requirement that you have to be involved or interested in the group to join the server! It’s guest-friendly to everyone that joins it, and has people from various roleplaying sites.
While we are selective about the applicants that we allow to join the group, there is a reason behind it, which is simply that we don’t want to see applicants struggle while involved in the group, because this is a multipara-novelist level group (between 400-5000 words per post), and to throw someone in who wouldn’t be able to keep up wouldn’t be good for anyone!
Ultimately we seek to revive the Persona 5 verse, as well as bring new writers together from various sites and make everlasting friendships through the writing that we do!

It’s been three years since the Phantom Thieves have disbanded, though they haven’t lost contact throughout the years.
As a result of wanting to get together again, Ann Takamaki, who’s modeling career has skyrocketed due to her hard work in the field, has opted to take everyone on a fun vacation to New York City, after having visited it herself and loved her time there the year before.
Anyone that was considered an ally to the cause of the Phantom Thieves has been given an invitation and plane tickets to Manhattan, for a celebration in Rockefeller Center. All costs, including those for visitor’s trinkets, have been funded by Ann’s own hand, though the cost is nothing when compared to the ability to make memories with everyone!
Now that the season is upon us all, how will everyone spend their time in New York, and just what will happen in this winter wonderland?

The sound of a very annoying buzzing sound had echoed through the woman’s ears. A single arm had stretched out and effortlessly went to find the off button. Picking up the phone, the woman groaned and slowly pushed herself up. Ann’s phone flashed 7:45 AM and on top of that it was a Saturday morning. “So much for sleeping in.” The perky blonde said to herself. There was a reason for her being up early and that was to meet with the head of Teen Vogue. He called her the night before and asked her to come in to see him. The only piece of information given to her was that he had something to discuss with her. The meeting wasn’t until 9 AM, but Ann wanted to get there bright and early.[break][break]
Thankfully the train ride wasn’t so bad this early in the morning. Ann had reached the office building by 8:30, at this point she took a calming breath and stepped into the building. She was greeted by a woman from the front gate, asking her what business she had today. Once Ann gave her answer, the woman nodded and directed her to the elevator.[break][break]
“Ah, Miss Takamaki, it’s so good to see you. And early I see as well, that’s a good sign.” The overly eager man, Mr. Yamamoto, said as he got up to greet her. He extended an arm out to show her where she was to take a seat. Once they were both seated, they got down to business. [break][break] “Miss Takamaki, I called you in here to first tell you what great work you’ve been putting out for us. It’s simply splendid!” A sheepish smile tugged at the corners of her lips, giving the man a nod before giving thanks to him. “Secondly, we want to treat you to a little vacation. I know the holidays are coming up but what perfect timing is there? I’m sure you would love to go visit New York City. Unfortunately, they’ve already had their tree lighting, but there are other things you can enjoy there! We’ll have a hotel room setup for you and everything. I was told the view is simply to die for.” [break][break]
After giving himself a breather, Ann’s eyes had lit up and she was overfilled with joy. It was going to be exciting to go visit such a place like New York. As happy as she was, the thought of leaving her friends behind made her sad. Not wanting to show how ungrateful she was for the offer, Ann forced a smile. “Thank you so much, that means a lot. When—“ She was cut off as Yamamoto began to speak once more. “There is a small catch to this trip, but we can smooth out those details later. The other thing I wanted to add, we’ll be covering the costs for your friends to accompany you. You’ll just have to let us know how many will be going and we’ll get them out there ASAP.” When Ann heard that news, she wanted to jump up for joy and just hug Yamamoto for the generous offer. Instead, she stayed seated and thanked him. [break][break]
“Do you have any questions?” The man asked, folding his hands on his desk. Ann thought about it and nodded her head. “Am I to assume I’ll have to leave before my friends or—?” The sentence dragged out, not knowing what else there could be to say. Yamamoto caught on and answered quickly. “That’s part of the small catch. We’ve organized a small photo shoot for you at the hotel. The sooner you get there, the more time you’ll be able to relax and enjoy yourself.” It seemed a little on the odd side but Ann believed him. “I’ll email you the details and just let me know who you’re inviting. If there are no more questions, I suggest you get back home ASAP. I’ve arranged a limo to pick you up within a few hours from now. That should give you enough time to pack.”[break][break]
Ann shot up from her chair, bowing in respect as she said thank you to Yamamoto. As soon as she was cleared from his office, Ann pulled out her phone and sent a group text to all of her friends. Hoping all of them would be able to come with her. New York City was amazing and it would be even more amazing if she could share this experience with those that are closest to her.[break][break]
New York City – a city bustling with millions of people and a place that easily attracted tourists. It was especially during the period around Christmas and New Years’ Eve that tourists flocked to the city – to count down to the new year upon Times Square, along with thousands others. She remembered having done so when she was younger – along with her parents. But ever since she grew older and wasn’t a child anymore, she preferred a more quiet setting – celebrating it at home with friends and family. And recently, only with friends. [break][break] It was thus all the more surprising that Hera had found herself in NYC in December. While the blonde had much preferred to stay home and be cosy on her couch, her agent had other plans; she had to go meet a producer – one who was going to make a series adaptation of a certain book series. And thus, her agent booked her into a hotel to stay there for a while. [break][break] Staring outside the window of the vehicle, she traversed through the city. It took a long time for her to arrive at the hotel – the roads full with cars going to and from work. Then again, what else was to be expected from such a busy city? After what seemed like forever, did she finally arrive at the hotel – which seemed to be right on time as small snowflakes started to slowly flutter down. It made a smile tug lightly upon her lips as she glanced up once outside the car. While the female had always loved snow, she knew it was a pain to get to destinations if it ended up forming ice on the roads, or worse – layers snow preventing anyone from going places. [break][break] With the chauffeur himself stepping out and getting her baggage, they quickly made their way inside the hotel – ignoring passerby’s who happened to recognize her and to avoid others from possibly recognizing the actress. She had atleast a few days to herself before she had to meet him – wondering why she had to stay in NYC this early already. Surely, it wouldn't have made a difference if she stayed at home for a day or two longer.
Thick soles clashed with the metal panels beneath her boots, creating an echo as she darted for the exit. Futaba practically stumbled from the jet bridge and into the terminal, slouching forward with hands pressed to her knees as a vast diversity of passengers strode by. Already out of breath following a brief sprint, it became apparent that three years had seen little improvement to her physical health. But, let that not be a testament against her overall advancement! Had she not experienced betterment in astronomical proportions, she'd still be in Yongen, missing out on an opportunity to reconvene with her friends and expand her horizons.[break][break]
Granted, the excitement of new experiences often came in tandem with anxiety. This was exceptionally true in the case of Futaba Sakura. As a former, literal NEET with minimal experience dabbling in social norms, being over 10,000 kilometers from home was as nerve-wracking as it was exhilarating.[break][break]
"Ugh, my legs feel wobbly..." As soon as she had recovered from her transient burst of energy, Futaba stood upright, motioning her palms to connect behind her back. Spherical amethysts surveyed unfamiliar territory through reflective lenses. "Lots of people here. Dunno how I feel about that." And she thought Haneda airport was big... At least there, she was still in her home country. Now overseas, the feeling of apprehension brought on by standing out was near overbearing. She felt like a scant weed in a flower patch; Except all the flowers were different colors and sizes and trying to account for all of them was a dizzying process. It reminded her of how she felt during her first visit to Akihabara: Alone, scared and unable to function.[break][break]
"I feel like I'm gonna die..." She muttered weakly, prising the fur-rimmed hood of her jacket over her head. Digits with onyx tips latched a bit tightly to the material, ensuring that it wouldn't slip even an inch from her scalp. Honestly, it didn't so much as benefit her as it partly obstructed her vision... but, it did provide her with a much-needed security boost! "Welp..! No point in turning back now. Onward, to the baggage claim!" She pointed forward in a dramatic fashion, exemplifying false confidence. However, she stiffened upon the realization that she was pointing in the complete opposite direction. The irony that the Phantom Thieves' Navigator had a poor sense of direction outside of the Metaverse. "Or, maybe not... Come on, Futaba! You worked hard for that platinum..!" She was, of course, referring to her presumed success in the completion of her promise list. Up until Akira's departure from Tokyo, she felt like she sincerely had conquered her greatest fears! Going outside and visiting crowded places was easy with the knowledge that he was always close enough to come rescue her. Once he was no longer able to act as her crutch, the effects of his absence became lucid...[break][break]
Eventually, after nervously traversing the terminal — and nearly resorting to turtle-esque defense mechanisms in an isolated corner — she had managed to retrieve her luggage and restore a bit of her self-esteem in the process. Checking her cellphone, she referred back to previous messages exchanged between herself and Ann, outlining specific instructions on where to go after disembarking her flight. Fortunately, she didn't have nearly as much trouble locating her shuttle, relieved to be free of the populace and headed for a certain destination. She was bound to meet up with the others at the hotel, right?[break][break]
Opening her mind to newfound possibilities became a little easier once she took her first steps in Times Square. Orbs already enlarged by her glasses grew even wider, awestruck by her surroundings. The city was a massive conglomerate of all kinds of stimuli! Colorful lights, an accumulation of sounds and scents that she couldn't even begin to describe; Everything in this industrious labyrinth appealed to the senses! As she entered the hotel, her suitcase rolled behind her like a staunch companion. Her eyes remained glued to her phone screen while she made her way through the lobby, scanning the group chat for any key updates. Releasing the handle of her luggage, she promptly lowered it before using it as a provisional seat. Expeditious fingers notified the group of her arrival.[break][break]
>> Infiltration successful! I'm in the lobby. Haven't checked in yet. What about you guys?[break][break]
Following her initial message, Futaba immediately shifted to her and Akira's personal conversation.[break][break]
>> This place is HUGE! Makes me nervous. You're coming, right? Please tell me you're coming.

It was almost as if Akira's prayers had been answered. Because yes, whilst he did enjoy working with Tae day in and day out, it was tiring, doing the same repetitive thing over and over again. Waking up, feeding Mona breakfast, going to the clinic, working, going back to feed Mona before going to Haru's for lunch, and then back to work until he'd go home again and pass out. So when the chance came up for him to take a vacation, especially to somewhere as luxurious as New York around Christmas, Akira couldn't be any more happier.[break][break]
Ann was an exceptionally good friend to Akira, despite the fact that they didn't always keep in contact, and that they both worked a lot, they had that friendship where they could just pick up where they left off, but something didn't feel right to Akira about this whole thing. Call it a gut feeling, but he had the inevitable feeling that something bad was going to happen. So before he made any decisions, he decided that first he'd talk it over with Mona. As he headed upstairs, he spotted his cat. Stretching out his limbs, Morgana deeply yawned, sticking his tongue out in that special way that cats do when they're doing a full body stretch, before his small features affixed their full attention to Akira, his tiny blue eyes gazing deeply, almost affectionately up at him for a moment before nodding slightly. "What's going on Joker?" Morgana asked, despite the fact that they hadn't been involved in the Metaverse for quite some time, it was just an old habit, but one that the cat seemingly couldn't let go of. "It's... Ann. She's invited us to go to New York with her and some of the others. But I can't help... but feel as though...." Akira trailed off.[break][break]
Nevermind. If he felt this way again he'd bring it up on the plane. "It's nothing. We just need to get ready and pack is all."[break][break]
He made quick work of getting their things together, Mona's collar, which he knew he hated wearing, but was the only way the cat could get on the plane, the yellow scarf Mona gave to him, safely packed away for good luck, his glasses case, clothes, and necessities. Then he left a note for Sojiro, and one for Tae, before he headed to the nearest train station, Mona in his lightest bag. [break][break]
As he was about to leave, he felt his phone vibrate, and realised it was Futaba. Smiling, he put his bag down, and moved to their chat to message back[break][break]
>> I'll be there soon.[break][break]
Arriving in New York, Akira was more than tired. For someone like him, who was constantly quiet, all the loud noise, bustling streets and outrageous waiting time made him exhausted. He wanted nothing more than to get out of the cold and into his hotel, and once he was there, he slumped into his bed, placing Mona down safely before he did so. Very muffledly into the pillow he groaned "I hate traveling." [break][break]
But Live another day

Makoto had been deep into her routinely schedule when she got Ann's message about going to New York, something that seemed to come at just the right time for her. She'd been running at her maximum capacity for weeks now; from cramming in classwork to keep her grades up, to shadowing and participating in physical exams at the police academy, she barely spent any time in her dorm room, or out doing anything social, like most of her classmates. The brunette was by no means complaining, however; she'd decided this path for herself after all, and she was going to do everything in her power to reach her aspirations, even if that meant a few sleepless nights and less human interaction in the process. [break][break] Even so...an all-expense paid vacation did sound pretty appealing, not only with the idea of her being able to enjoy the holidays in peace, but also being able to spend it around the friends she hadn't seen in so long. Her friends...how she'd missed them. Keeping in touch via their old group chats was fine and all, but Makoto couldn't deny how much she'd wished keeping in physical contact was a possibility. But it was how things had to be; they all had their own lives to live, and that was that. No amount of wishful thinking could change it, and that was fine. At least they had this opportunity, whether it seemed strangely out of the blue or not. [break][break]
>>I'll definitely be there.
[break][break] It hadn't taken Makoto more than an hour to pack her bags after messaging her friend, the rest of her morning being spent getting ahead on her studies and contacting her professors about her absence for the time being. She was one of their top students, so they didn’t seem to mind, but Makoto felt it pertinent to check with them, anyway. All that remained for her after the fact was to board her flight and make her way to the foreign entity that was New York, nerves bubbling up within the brunette. [break][break] Time had seemed to go by both quickly and slowly on the flight, the brunette spending most of it reading through a travel brochure about the Big Apple, while also sneaking in a little nap to help ease some of her nerves. Luckily, her plane didn’t take long to land, and minimal waiting time in the baggage area allowed the brunette to examine her surroundings just a bit, to get a feel for the area she was about to traverse. On top of that, the hotel wasn't far from where she'd been let off, the female able to enjoy the two block trek whilst internalizing this foreign area. New York seemed...really busy, even busier than Tokyo, to her surprise, and her hotel seemed no different, once she'd walked inside the vast double doors to check in. [break][break] A familiar head of spiky blonde locks caught Makoto’s eye only barely before his voice broke through the murmur of the crowds, the female stifling an eye roll and a laugh behind her usual poker face as she walked up to the other. “It’s almost astonishing how quickly I can pick you out in a crowd, Ryuji. Did you just get here?”
Due to people continually abusing our advertising section, we've opted to remove it. It became really impossible for certain sites to see if we were active or not because Reflections basically became a dumping ground of advertisements, and this wasn't from one single site, but multiple who kept reposting the same advert as if it was going out of style. For now our affiliation section can be found in the General part of the forum, with a link to it listed in our top area. Considering that we don't go out of our way to pollute other people's sites with advertisements we found that it was only fair to fully remove them. Thank you for your understanding.
