This is a multistory Persona 5 based Role Play Group. If you’re wondering what that means, well it means that we have no real ‘set’ storyline for the group itself, but several ‘required’ stories that demand members involvement, several ‘leisure’ stories that are sign-up based, and some ‘seasonal’ events that come and go depending on the time of year it is!
This group is entirely based upon member activity, and because of that we offer a myriad of innovative new things to keep the involvement in the group going, including: Seasonal Writing Contests (complete with real life prizes!), Seasonal Editing Contests (complete with editing prizes!), Personal Rp areas set to the theme of any event storyline, Member Setup RP Events, and Open Location Based RPs.
Our discord server is also open to the public, and it isn’t a requirement that you have to be involved or interested in the group to join the server! It’s guest-friendly to everyone that joins it, and has people from various roleplaying sites.
While we are selective about the applicants that we allow to join the group, there is a reason behind it, which is simply that we don’t want to see applicants struggle while involved in the group, because this is a multipara-novelist level group (between 400-5000 words per post), and to throw someone in who wouldn’t be able to keep up wouldn’t be good for anyone!
Ultimately we seek to revive the Persona 5 verse, as well as bring new writers together from various sites and make everlasting friendships through the writing that we do!

THE LOVERS ARCANA
Due to this being the season, from now until 2/14/19 we will be holding a special event.
This is a story based event where you submit a story to us in the contest area of the forum, under the title "The Lovers Arcana". In this writing event we require a oneshot story that is connected to love.
Whether it's familial love, romance, or the love for a pet. What we want to see though is a mention of the holiday season and how one would spend it in this time!
We want to see a love story and get that warm and fuzzy feeling inside! It doesn't have to be in character either, this is just a contest to see who can incite that feeling in each of us! FIRST PLACE PRIZE: Futaba Inspired Valentines Cat Bag SECOND PLACE PRIZE: Morgana Plus THIRD PLACE PRIZE: Get Smoked Hat
[attr="class","liklovstuff1"]I'm going to protect that which my father left for me.
[attr="class","liklovstuff2"]It was an odd predicament the woman had landed herself in, that much was certain. [break][break] February 13th, just a few moments before the dreaded Valentine’s day. Dread seemed to be a bit extreme of an emotion, but excitement seemed unfitting for Haru. It was a holiday that had never meant much for her, her only real memory being the once she was forced to spend it with her fiancée. Though even that was short lived, as she had managed to feign illness to avoid him halfway through and ended up with store-bought chocolates at home with her books. That, was very much unlike this. [break][break] Digits brushed against her pastel pink apron, rubbing off the remnants of chocolate that had stuck to her fingers without any remorse. Her hazelnut-colored hues shifted across the six, if she were to be honest with herself, slightly misshapen chocolates now resting in their red silken packaging. Perhaps it would have made a grander gesture if she had bought something perfect, but wasn’t the holiday about things that came from the heart? Her gaze rested on one that was supposed to be shaped in the form of a heart, but more resembled what an anatomical heart actually looked like. [break][break] No matter! [break][break] She wouldn’t let her own failings in the kitchen ruin this event for everyone involved. Her digits moved, sealing the small box and resting it in the bottom of her purse. The question only remained whether or not to drop it off tonight or in the morning, and for that she was drawing quite a large blank. Tonight wasn’t exactly the holiday, but it would ensure she missed the crowds tomorrow would bring. Hm. Pink lips pulled together as her arms moved around, untying the apron and resting it on the counter top. [break][break] A list of pros and cons swirled in her mind as she scrubbed the counter tops, eventually finding herself satisfied with the state she left the kitchen in, as well as the decision to leave early in the morning. Plus, that gave her time to get her anxieties out of the way. [break][break] The individual who would be the recipient of said chocolates wasn’t exactly a loved one, but one much in need of loving. It was someone she could call a friend, at the very least, and someone who at the end of the day was very alone in this world. If things had gone differently… she could have been that someone. Any of her friends could. But they got lucky, they defeated the Holy Grail and conquered. They got to live out their days, finding their passions and moving past the ailments that had landed them in the Metaverse. [break][break] He wasn’t so lucky. [break][break]
6:00 AM came later than she had imagined, the whole night spent tossing and turning with what reaction the chocolates would bring. Did he even like chocolate? Would she be intruding on some other facet of his life by showing up at his doorstep? The questions went on and on, Haru rising to her alarm clock without the faintest idea whether or not she actually slept. Still, she arose from the warmth of her comforter and got dressed with relative haste. She chose something simple to wear, deciding on her usual pink sweater to round out the ensemble. [break][break] It wasn’t until she arrived on the train that her mind finally slowed, allowing her nerves to finally settle. Her hand found its way into her purse, ensuring her touch was delicate as she pulled the box out once more. The base of the box was a warm pink, a white bow being ties around it. On the face of the box she had drawn a black mask, a subtle reminder of when they first met and she was far too paranoid to show her face. They were thieves, after all! Anonymity was part of that fact. Though, even with her mask it wasn’t difficult to discern her identity. As well as the fact that they met at her café. No, she hadn’t planned the whole ordeal very well, but it wasn’t long before she learned that he was someone she could trust. Opposite of the mask was his name written in the best calligraphy she could muster in a shining black ink. [break][break] It wasn’t a large box, but it seemed fitting for the individual she planned to give it to. A small smile crossed her lips as she placed the package back into her purse. She wasn’t anything special to him, that much she was mostly certain. But the holiday wasn’t just about someone special, it was about love in general. It was about reminding someone that you care about them. Often with chocolates, even if those chocolates weren’t of the best quality. [break][break] When it was finally time to exit the train, she made sure to take in several deep breaths. It was just chocolate; it was just a gesture from someone all by themselves to another person all by themselves. [break][break] The walk to his neighborhood went far too quickly for her taste, her brain not even having a moment to wrap itself around the whole situation. Why was she so nervous? Oh! Too late, there was the door. Haru’s lips pressed together, attempting to swallow back her nerves as a digit reached out, gently knocking on the wooden door. [break][break] Should she pull the box out now? Oh! Too late, the door was opening. [break][break] The wood pulled back, revealing the disheveled crimson locks that she had almost grown accustomed to. Her gaze moved across his face; he looked tired, like he had just rolled out of bed and answered the door. The nerves quelled at that; Daisuke definitely wasn’t someone to be intimidated of. He was her friend, and more importantly, he was someone who deserved the world. [break][break] His lips parted, clear concern already strewing on his features, “Haru? Is everything okay?” [break][break] A soft giggle rolled off her tongue before she could contain it. “Everything’s fine! I promise, I just..” A pause separated her sentence, reaching into her purse to grab the small box. “I brought you something! To say Happy Valentine’s Day!” Her arms outstretched, presenting the box to him, and it only took a few seconds for him to register and take it into his own palms. He seemed to observe every inch of it, a smile forming when he noticed the mask. [break][break] “You didn’t have to-“ [break][break] She cut him off, “I wanted to. I didn’t know if you were getting chocolates from anyone, and I personally believe everybody deserves some sweets on a day like this. They might not be the best, though, I have to warn you! I scoured the internet last night for recipes, so if they get you sick this is me apologizing in advance!” [break][break] He gave a laugh at that, and the next few hours were spent enjoying tea and eating those misshapen chocolates. A holiday that brought so many anxieties and loneliness felt like so much more now; she wasn’t alone anymore. And neither was he. [break][break]
Chocolates. It always came down to chocolates. Does anyone ever even stop to think about how ridiculous it is, special days about buying chocolate and making proclamations? They're chocolates, get them whenever! If anything, get them when it's not Valentine's or White Day to make it an actual surprise! Dammit, communism and trends.
Three chocolates down, three to go at least. Did he think he could finish before she got out of bed? Who knows. Sometimes she's up with the sun, others he can be up and about for hours before that cute bundle of bedhead pops into the room. He wanted the latter today, just to make sure things go perfectly. Not flawlessly, but perfectly them. The Haru kind of perfect that gave 100% of their energy to make something the greatest. Maybe that's why he still molds just a little off. A few dents, a twisted shape. The Daisuke kind of perfect that adds a little twist on something nice. A toothpick engrained heart on a piece with a smiley inside, a simple 'ILY' on another. The silly things, the little things, the things that make her smile a little brighter and shoulders a little lighter. For fifteen years he's been working on making those pretty shoulders lighter, so that maybe one day she can finally take the world off them.
Four chocolates. Progress! See? And she always talks like he's a klutz at thi- That's an egg on the floor. Shit. Deal with that later. This chocolate got the engraving, putting it at the back of the bag so when she reaches the end she can see something smiling back at her. Like how they were, all those years ago. Always smiling, innocent and unaware of what was happening day by day. When did it even happen? When did those friendly smiles turn into something more. Knowing smiles, daring smiles, 'I just kissed your cheek but god I want to kiss your lips' smiles. He didn't know when they started, or if they always were and he just hadn't realized yet. He only remembered when they became that forever on. A year into them talking daily, hanging out constantly, sharing even the most ridiculous stories. Gardening mishaps, sibling struggles, the always horrifying exam stories. There's nothing they wouldn't talk about. Until suddenly, they weren't talking. Haru had just laughed, he probably said something stupid about how impossible it was for his green thumb to develop, and he'd just stopped. That laugh. Something he'd heard a million times, yet this time it was the sweetest thing he'd ever heard. She was smiling, so was he. And in that, they became something else. It wasn't obvious at first, but as he leaned in, and she did the same, it became evident. Seems that cheek would be seeing a little less action, so would that kind of smile.
Is that five chocolates he sees? Yes. Yes it is. One more and he was in the clear. Stay asleep, Haru, smack that snooze button like it just insulted Café Noir. God, that Café. Still running. It was what became their home away from home. Not as in they slept there all the time or anything. No, it was just where their hearts always returned if they couldn't be kept on person at the time. Where all their deepest emotions rose to be cradled by the other and taken care of. The others, they didn't understand it like they did. They went through hell, all of them did, but Daisuke and Haru saw hell. It was in the world disappearing around him. It was in seeing her father collapse on live T.V. Hell was losing someone you love, knowing exactly what it was, and a deeprooted belief that you could've changed it. Saved it. Erased the notion of it. The more Haru opened up, the more he wanted to crack open the world if for nothing else than to just take pieces of it from her. They didn't have physical scars, which made it harder to be cute about these sorts of things. You don't just kiss mental scars and nightmarish trauma. But they tried. It was in.... The little things. The hair playing, the body kisses, the shoulder and foot rubs. It was in the big things. The cradling at 3AM as Daisuke woke up panicking, all nighters doing accounting and trying to keep Okumura Foods under Haru's control so assure her Father's legacy stayed the level of quality it deserved, the random moments of one of them spiraling back down the rabbit hole and helping them find their back. They weren't perfect. They were perfectly them. If that meant they found ways to cope together instead of magically being okay with the nightmares they experienced? Fine. So long as he could wrap his arms around her in the night and know she knows he's going through it again.
Six chocolates. He's a god! A true Adonis to be praised. And what luck. Within minutes of him setting up the little bag he heard the bed shifting from upstairs. Time to get ready. Not in the traditional sense, more so its time to hide in the closet to surprise her after she picks up the chocolates. Opening and closing the door he waited, ear against the door as he tried to time how long it would take for her to come downstairs. Five minutes. In that time he'd find himself bored to death, but it was worth it when he heard the kitchen door open up!
Haru didn't know what to expect that morning, but a messy kitchen sounded about right since she was woken up by an alarm. She didn't want to sleep all morning today. A bag, pure white with blue string wrapping its tip, and a little mask for a bow. She was onto this trick now, reaching for the closet door and pulling it open to reveal a very messy and surprised Daisuke almost falling out of it. Busted.
"Uh... Surprise?" He tried to play it off, but the sudden rush of red across his face showed he was pretty damn embarrassed at being caught like that. Especially since she was looking at him with that coy smirk that showed such a satisfaction at ruining his well thought out plan. She was cheeky, alright. But that smirk disappeared fast, followed by that bright smile and a super hug. She must've loved the mask.
Haru couldn't say anything as she embraced him, even after all this time there was still such a swell of emotion with such simple gifts. Its because she knew how long he's been down here, working on all this, probably ruining a few pieces to boot but we'll ignore those. This is what mattered. The feeling of his arms wrapped around her, of his smell mixing with the lingering chocolate on his shirt, of his voice when he finally decided to open his mouth to say something more.
"Why don't you start in on your sugary breakfast? I have a full day planned for you, and I don't want any slacking. I just need a quick shower and I'll be back down."
A full day, huh? He's really going for it this time, isn't he? She didn't respond verbally, just a small nod of her head and a leaning up to kiss his cheek. Pulling back she was still wearing a smile. Not the usual bright one, one that was more... 'I want to kiss more than your cheek but both of our breaths are atrocious right now'. Then she sent him off, moving to the table to pull open her bag of goodies and dig into breakfast.
[attr="class","red-txt"] Valentine’s Day was one of the most looked forward to holidays at Shujin Academy, and no matter how much she tried to understand why, Makoto Niijima couldn’t seem to fathom an answer. Sure, it meant that the students could show more public affection than they normally would at school, but nothing else about it seemed any different. Buying gifts, taking a loved one out on a date…weren’t those things that people did on a fairly regular basis, anyway? It seemed like a waste of money and time, if you asked her…not that anyone at her school would. A social pariah like herself didn’t hold any weight in the student body, even considering her title as president. [break][break] Even a change in mindset couldn’t stop her from studying the masses like they were some sort of experiment, her perception about the phenomenon known as ‘love’ still too inconclusive to actually give her answers. Sure, she’d opened up a bit, and sure, she’d realized that she wasn’t just some pawn to be moved around on a chessboard, but was something as foreign as love even possible for Makoto Niijima? She wasn’t even entirely sure of the answer herself. [break][break] What Makoto hadn’t realized was that she was being watched herself; Haru descended from the roof after tending to her plants during lunch, her chestnut irises slowly scanning the mass of students before a familiar French braid caught her eye. Smiling to herself, she made her way over to the owner of said braid, speaking gently as not to catch her too off guard. [break][break] “Looks like another normal Tuesday for you, Miss President,” Haru teased, clearly jabbing at Makoto’s intent people watching. Confusion marred the other’s features, her head tilting just slightly to the side as her gaze locked with Haru’s. [break][break] “I suppose it depends on your definition of ‘normal’,” she finally responded, her expression unchanging. It was no wonder so many students to this day still refer to her as ‘the robot’. “I’m just…trying to understand why they all seem to enjoy such a simplistic holiday so much. It’s not like it’s much different than any other day.” Makoto’s gaze slowly moved back to the hustle and bustle, from the couples happily holding hands as they walked through the halls, to the girls and boys who shyly handed off cards or chocolates or roses like it was a normal thing. She just couldn’t seem to wrap her head around it. [break][break] For a moment, Haru was silent, drinking in the other’s explanation with the tiniest hint of a smile upon her pink lips. “Well…I’m not really sure how to explain it myself,” she voiced after a moment, leaning towards Makoto just enough to lightly nudge her shoulder, “but maybe instead of telling you, I could try and show you?” [break][break] When Makoto had agreed to let Haru help her out, Destinyland was most certainly the last place she’d expected them to go. Even though it was early afternoon, the park was alive with couples at every intersection; the brunette couldn’t take a look around without catching a sneaky kiss or some sort of display of affection going on around her. And here she’d thought the school had been bad. [break][break] “Mako-chan!” [break][break] It was then that she was both physically and mentally pulled out of her distracted state as Haru tugged upon her hand, bringing those wandering eyes back front and center to reside on the other. Guilt momentarily washed over the taller female, her expression only morphing infinitesimally when she finally allowed the heiress to drag her along. The throngs of couples were hard to ignore as the two passed by, but Makoto would give it her best; she had to trust that her teammate knew what she was doing in helping to ‘educate’ her. [break][break] “So…where are we headed, exactly?” Makoto’s expression was the same mask she usually wore, but her tone gave off a hint of curiosity, the hand in hers feeling rather foreign as she was dragged along. The brunette wasn’t used to having so much contact with another person; it wasn’t like people at their school had been lining up at the chance to have any sort of contact with her, after all. [break][break] "Hopefully, somewhere that'll give you some perspective," Haru responded easily, her innocent smile giving the brunette a twinge of suspicion. But the way Haru squeezed her hand made her feel...secure in a foreign way, like something she hadn’t felt since before her father passed away. It was almost frightening, how it made her chest tighten at the thought. She couldn’t let herself dwell on that for now, though; worrying about something like that could wait until she was home alone for the night. “There’s a place here that couples usually visit a lot, so…maybe it’ll give you a little enlightenment?” [break][break] Makoto’s confusion only grew in volume as they approached the Ferris wheel, of all things, her brows furrowing slightly as she let Haru pull her along. Looking around made it clear that her fluffy haired friend had been right, though; couples were all lined up, ready for a chance to get settled in to one of the metal baskets and bask in the afternoon glow. She wasn’t exactly sure how something like this could be viewed as romantic; frankly the sight made Makoto’s stomach twist into knots. The brunette wasn’t necessarily bad with heights, but it had been literal years since she’d ridden one of these steel contraptions. Sue her for feeling a little apprehensive. [break][break] There wasn’t a chance for her to voice this before she was tugged into one of the cars by the bubbly female before her, Makoto’s hand grasping Haru’s a little tighter as they finally settled into their respective seats. She’d wanted to sit across from the other to balance out the cart, but Haru was certainly not having that. [break][break] “It’s more romantic if both parties are on the same side, you know.” She’d chided gently, having not realized Makoto’s nerves were running rampant like they were. Maybe she’d have been a little more understanding if she had, but it wasn’t exactly her fault; Makoto’s facial expression didn’t give anything away, after all. “It makes for a more intimate setting!” [break][break] Intimate wasn’t exactly the word Makoto would use, but she decided it’d be best to grit her teeth and bear it….at least until the cart started to actually move. [break][break] Her heart leapt up into her throat when the cart groaned and jerked forward, her hand clamping down onto Haru’s and her body immediately buckling into the others. The sudden closeness caused a squeak to slip past Haru’s lips, but she didn’t pull away from her friend, probably more because she was frozen in place rather than being completely supportive. A moment of thawing did cause a smile to stretch across her pink lips however, her other hand reaching up to smooth Makoto’s straight locks in a supportive manner. [break][break] Had she ever seen her react to something like this before? [break][break] “Its okay, the ride gets smoother once it gets going,” she assured her after a moment, feeling Makoto actually relax against her. Another moment passed and the brunette was finally peeling herself off of her friend, shame looming in her bright, calculative gaze. [break][break] “Sorry…it’s been a long time since I rode one of these.” Her apology was as genuine as it was intimate, giving Haru a bit of information that she hardly ever spoke to anyone else about. “I’m still having trouble figuring out why couples might find this ‘romantic’, too.” [break][break] “It’s more about the atmosphere,” Haru explained, her smile knowing and warm as she spoke. Makoto was glad to realize that her friend had been right; the ride definitely felt much smoother now that they were going along. “It’s open, but secluded enough to be considered intimate. And if you get to the top at the right time,” she gestured towards the sunset, front and center now that the ride had come to a stop, “it gives you the perfect view to enjoy with someone you love. How couldn’t that be romantic?” [break][break] It had taken a moment for those words to really sink in for the brunette, her crimson irises all but glued to the sunset and the warmth it seemed to exude onto the two of them. The more she stared in awe though, the more she wondered if the sunset was where the feeling was actually coming from; her hand still clasped in Haru’s felt much warmer than the sun’s rays did, strangely enough. [break][break] “I see…” Her voice lost a bit of its usual vibrato, her gaze slowly slipping away from the brilliant reds and oranges of the sunset to focus upon her friend. She wasn’t sure how, but Haru’s eyes seemed to glow brighter still. “I’ve never been able to look at it like that before…Thank you, Haru. I feel a little more knowledgeable about all of this—!?” [break][break] She hadn’t even been able to finish her sentence before she felt something warm and fleeting against her cheek, Haru having leaned forward to brush her soft lips against the other’s smooth skin. Crimson blossomed along her cheekbones and a shiver rolled down her spine, her own lips parting just slightly as she stared into the chestnut hues of her companion. Had that actually just happened?? [break][break] “H-Haru, what—” Makoto was cut off almost immediately when Haru pressed a finger against her own lips, silencing the question before it could even be asked. Understandably, the touch had her shivering once again, eyes wide and chock full of inquiries. [break][break] “Why don’t we just enjoy the sunset for now, okay?” Haru’s own cheeks were flushed, but her expression seemed mischievous…Makoto couldn’t help but wonder if the little vixen in front of her had actually planned for this to happen. Though…she couldn’t find it in herself to care at the moment. How strange. [break][break] “Y-You’re incorrigible,” Makoto breathed out with a sigh of resignation, pulling back from the other’s soft digits before she spoke. She knew there was no winning this time, pride and stubbornness be damned. “We can enjoy it for a little while longer." [break][break] “Good.” A victorious grin stretched wide across Haru’s lips as she turned back to look at the sunset, slyly scooting closer to Makoto while intertwining her fingers with the other’s. Her head even found its way to the crook of the brunette’s head, and as much as she wanted to ask….she didn’t. She promised she’d let them lie for now, just so they could enjoy this little moment for as long as they got the spotlight at the top of the Ferris wheel. [break][break] What Makoto wasn’t aware of was that Haru had bribed the operator before they’d climbed aboard, and if she had her way, they wouldn’t be coming down any time soon.
Due to people continually abusing our advertising section, we've opted to remove it. It became really impossible for certain sites to see if we were active or not because Reflections basically became a dumping ground of advertisements, and this wasn't from one single site, but multiple who kept reposting the same advert as if it was going out of style. For now our affiliation section can be found in the General part of the forum, with a link to it listed in our top area. Considering that we don't go out of our way to pollute other people's sites with advertisements we found that it was only fair to fully remove them. Thank you for your understanding.
